I was going to use both for the MAX Scheduler (https://max.adobe.com/na/se..., but the implementation of Firefox made it look like crap. And unfortunately you can't specify only for Firefox 3 using that style. :(

Anti-aliasing is better in Firefox 3, but I never noticed the
background problem.

Have you noticed though that the anti-aliasing/background colour is not correct with Firefox?
